Information We Collect

• Account data: username, email address.
• Gameplay data: games, moves, PGN exports, timestamps.
• Telemetry: error and performance data via Sentry (non‑PII where possible).
• Analytics: aggregate usage via Google Analytics (no voice transcripts).
• Voice processing: voice transcripts are sent transiently to OpenAI for speech correction and are not stored by us.

Retention

• Account and gameplay data: retained until you request deletion.
• Error logs (Sentry): typically retained up to 90 days.
• Rate limiting keys (Redis): short‑lived / ephemeral.
• Voice transcripts: not stored by us (transient processing only).

Your Rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing privacy@vocalchess.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Children

VocalChess is intended for users aged 16+. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (HTTPS, access controls, rate limiting). No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
